We went for brunch and Bongo Johnnys was very busy, so wait time can be long, but well worth it. Big selection of plates and drinks offered, and food was delicious! We will definitely return when in town again.
Rigo was very attentive, friendly, and patient! He served a group of 7 of us today for brunch and we had an amazing experience. We had everything from breakfast food, burgers, and drinks and were very satisfied with all items! Super funny and witty server which made for a good time and we will be back!
The Guac Burger was delicious. It's the same price as the Beach Burger plus avocado so it's much more worth it in my opinion. I ordered the patty medium rare and they cooked it exactly as requested. I also chose the brioche over the potato bun so it added a buttery flavor to every bite. The Caesar salad as a side is a great choice to refresh your palette but you can't go wrong with the crinkle-cut fries either. We came around 6 p.m. on a Thursday night and were seated pretty quickly outdoors near the heater which was appreciated.
Bongo's...what can I say. This is one of our favorite places to eat when we leave our lil city next door. The staff are always busting their humps to take care of everyone. It gets extremely busy at times, but there are always folks backing up your server. Whether it's a fresh drink or any food item you require, Bongos will take care of you. My favorite is the Chicken Tostada Salad and the Tuna Sandwich. Oh, and the grilled pork chop dinner is delicious. The owner, Mark(sp), is usually on-site and does his best to accommodate those there to eat or just enjoy a beverage at the bar. Be patient if you're on the waiting list. Sitting on the front patio is one of the best seats in town; especially when it's nice outside. They have heaters for those chilly days and nights. I see what I feel is unwarranted criticism on some recent reviews regarding "not paying enough attention" to each individual. You are there as a party to eat/drink, etc. If you need "individual attention", please seek that at home. P.S. Bongos has the best pancakes in town...hands down!!!

Had dinner with my coworkers here and it was a really good vibe. The staff was friendly, and they were attentive. The food came out quickly and everything was delicious. I got a strawberry lemon drop, absolutely delicious and I LOVE how the waiter asked me if I wanted it sweet or strong. I chose sweet! The burger was juicy! Very juicy! Just the right about of BBQ Sauce too. & I also got a side of ranch and extra pickles. Definitely recommend!
Continued excellence at Bongo Johnny's. The past 4 times here I have inly ordered the Crab Cake sandwich with Sweet potato fries. So very delicious! Includes 2 large cakes! A great lunch. Love it sooooo much.
Great experience here. Sat outside on the deck (very dog friendly) while it was 117 degrees. They have great misters and they were very accommodating to my dog, even bringing her a bowl of ice! The wrap was absolutely delicious. Hit the spot in the heat. Will definitely be back!
